Laundry in Bali

If you're ever in Bali and you need to do your laundry, head to Kuta. There are several places on the island (mostly at resorts) that'll do you laundry for you, but those services can be expensive and, personally, I prefer to do it myself. So, if you're like me and want a self-service laundromat, like I said, head to Kuta.

I think there are a few places in Kuta in which you can do it yourself, but there's only one place I know of and can vouch for. I have no idea what the address is (which is okay because in Bali and address doesn't mean much), but the place is right on the main road; it's a not so small building with the word "laundry" on the front. At the time of this posting, one load (including wash and dry) is 50,000 Rp. Expensive by American standards, but when you're a million miles away from your own closet, clean clothes are pricesless.

Tiger

Anyone who follows golf even remotely knows that right now Tiger Woods is on a tear. He's playing like a man possessed. I read an article over at Yahoo! last week that put it into perspective:
"Woods tied for 60th at the Greater Milwaukee Open in his pro debut 10 years ago this week. His first paycheck was $2,544.

This year, he is averaging $2,512 for every stroke."
That's incredible.

I was going to blog about it last week when I read it, but never got the chance… and it's a good thing I didn't. He won again last weekend at the Deutsche Bank, which did nothing but improve that stat: he's now at $2608.38 per stroke - that's amazing.
