Katrina

Hurricane Katrina is really doing a number on our southern states, as seen in this interview with a survivor. It's important we all do what we can to help them out.

A mirage it is

I had to take my car back to the mechanic yesterday. The alignment was off and the check engine light was on. He managed to fix the alignment, but diagnosed the check engine light turn-on to a part under warranty. Thus, I've got an appointment with my local Kia dealership in a few weeks to fix that one. Also, the car shakes now when I get it about 65 mph or so - I'll have to ask about that one too. Other than that it still runs, and, more importantly, I remember how to drive stick!

It's fixed!

I picked my Kia up from the mechanic yesterday. Unfortunately, I had to leave it in the parking lot at work though as I still had the rental car to worry about. I turned that in this morning (a story in and of itself) and now am relying on my girlfriend to drive me around. The car looked brand new again, but have this strange feeling it's a mirage…
