Go Pistons!

I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate my Pistons on a second straight Eastern Conference title. Growing up watching Chuck Daly and Bad Boys, my love for the Pistons runs deep. It's hard not to get a little emotional when you see history repeating itself like this. Hopefully they can get the job done in San Antonio.

Summer out east

This is my last week in Cali for a while. For the next few months I'll be living out east, working at IBM. I was at this particular facility last summer and had a good time, so when the group I was working with invited me back this summer I couldn't help but say yes. It's really nice to work on something different for a few months in an atmosphere like Watson. It's also interested to see the differences between research in industry and academia. Also, since I did my undergrad in New York, I get to a chance to see some old friends as well.

The actual moving is the only downside to the whole thing. There are several things I've got wrap up here, and others I've got to finalize out there. Although I've made moves like this several times, it never seems to get any easier. But whatever, it's always fun :)
