Labour Day Recap

My sister stayed with me this weekend - always a good time :) She and my girlfriend hung out in the city on Friday, getting their hair and nails done, and doing a little shopping. I dropped them off uptown around 8:30-ish, and when I met back up with them later that afternoon they were full of stories and smiles. I'm still awaiting the pictures!

A friend of mine from Cali was in town as well. We had a little reunion of sorts Friday night and Saturday. That's a wild boy! We also met up with my cousin and her boyfriend Saturday morning. I get a chance to see them about once every month or so, but Missy not so much. She'd never met the boyfriend, and hadn't seen the cousin since sometime in the mid-nineties! So it was nice they got a chance to catch up.

Sunday we spent with my girlfriends family. I've always thought her mother was trying to hurt me with the amount of food she prepared, and Sunday was no different. We arrived about 3-ish and she proceeded to feed us until about 9 (or maybe later, it's all a blur). There were like 7 courses! I mean, this was beyond "fit for a king." We sat down to a movie afterwards (review to come) and made our way home.

We were so worn out from the weekend that it took us half the day to get out of bed Monday. The rest was spent running errands, cooking, and dropping my sister off at the train station.
