Car accident I got into a car accident today on my way to work :( I was rounding the curb of an off ramp when my Kia started to fish tail. I lost control and ran into the wall. I didn't think I was coming around the curb too fast, but I guess when it's raining like it was you can never be too certain.Accidents must happen around here all the time. 911 put me through to one set of authorities, who said, "where are you? … oh, you're out of our jurisdiction here's the number for the department you want." And it wasn't some convenient 800 number either. Unfortunately, he couldn't transfer and apparently had higher priority crime to fight cause he hurried me off the phone. Not cool. Eventually someone showed up. I guess if you're not like dead, no really cares. Trouble is, if you're dead you can't really call for help. On top of that, I got a parking ticket this morning. The messed up part about it was it was my girlfriend that was illegally parked, not me! I get the feeling the parking officer saw my Michigan plates and figured the out of towner was taking up the spots for the locals. Either was it was pretty dirty. I'd like to go see the judge to talk about it, but right now my transportation is more than sketchy.
